So, let me tell you...
I picked up this orange blazer about a year or so ago from a thrifting venture of mine and never wore it. At the time I wasn't completely convinced about the color or the fit. The orange as you can see is SO ORANGE, which in actuality is what drew me towards the garment to begin with. Now that I've been trying to incorporate more color into my mix I decided that it was time to take this bright baby out for a spin.
For a blazer this vibrant, I wanted to make sure the other colors a part of this look were relatively neutral. Pairing this 80's style blazer with my beloved high waist shorts and my Moms' old belt was only the beginning of this fun lunch date outfit.
Side note... In past times, I've been more of the "I'll just throw my hair in a ponytail" kinda gal, but I've been trying to experiment with various hairstyles and this by far has been my favorite. It's my rendition of the faux-hawk. What do you think?
I hope you're having a beautiful day. Thank you for reading.
